The sun turns with the tide
And time touches the island
To burn the spring with
Summer sun
Until autumn leaves do fall
And in vibrant color
That reflect the last warmth
Before overtaken by frost
In the deep blanketing white
Yet through each storm
We know it will be warmer
When the gentleness of spring
Decides to sprout again
Welcoming back the Sun.
